Holiday boat parade lights up the waterways – the “World’s Most Watched Boat Parade”
Thousands lined up Saturday evening along the parade’s 12-mile route to enjoy the annual floating holiday party. Now in its 41st year, the parade featured more than 100 whimsically decorated vessels ranging in size from mega yachts to paddle boards.
Even the world’s largest floating alligator head participated. Hollywood artist Lloyd Goradesky brought out his 100-foot long “Gator on the Bay” art project fresh from Art Basel. The gator head, built aboard a barge, featured members of the Seminole Tribe wrestling live alligators.
